Skin Treatments

All of our facials are based on Aveda’s holistic, high touch approach to wellness based on Ayurvedic principles. This philosophy states the 5 elements (Infinity, Air, Fire, Water and Earth) are within us at all times. Daily stresses of life can bring these natures and yourself out of balance. Through education, awareness and the Aveda rituals, our therapists are able to create customized treatments and home care to bring you into balance to encourage healthier skin, mind and body.

This results-orientated treatment has been proven in clinical testing to perform a 30% glycolic peel, without the associated redness and irritation.The perfecting plant peel ™ activating spray and thermal masque refine the skin as an alternative to chemical approaches.

Dermaplaning

20 Minutes – $35

A low risk skin care exfoliation, taking a scalpel blade, using back and forth movements to remove dead skin and vellus hairs. Not recommended if you have  active acne, rosacea, eczema, course hair, diabetes, cancer, or on blood thinners.  If you use Botox & filler (wait 2 weeks), Retinol (wait 5 days), Chemical Peel and laser treatments (wait 14 days), and Accutane (wait 6-12 months).   Ages 18+ or 12-17 with guardian consent. Only available w/Bella

Microdermabrasion

20 Minutes – $35

Form of exfoliation, an exfoliation tip that takes diamond crystals to exfoliate, gently sands the outer layer of your skin. Helps with skin renewal, skin rejuvenation, light scarring, skin cell discoloration, sun damage, etc.  Not recommended if you have rosacea, cold sores, retnoids, inflamed acne, use accutane or blood thinners. Ages 18 + or 12-17 with guardian consent. Only available w/Bella

Microneedling

Series of 3 sessions, 45-60 minutes – $675

Also known as (C.I.T) Collagen Induction Therapy. Multiple sterile needles make mini wounds in the epidermal layer of the skin. The skins natural response to produce more collagen and elastin leaving you with firm smooth skin. Micro needling is good for pigmentation, aging, texture, tone, scarring, enlarged pores, wrinkles, and so much more. Not recommended if you have active acne, cold sores, diabetes, cancer, auto-immune, if you are pregnant, nursing,  on Accutane(wait 6 months) or on blood thinners. Ages 18 + or 12-17 with guardian consent. Only available w/Bella

LED Light Therapy

25 minutes – $35

LED (light emitting diode) light wave lengths that help treat a variety or skin concerns such as: hyper pigmentation, aging, acne, Rosacea, and so many more. Ages 18+ or 12-17 with guardian consent. Only available w/Bella

Microcurrent

15-30 minutes – $35

Low level electrical that mimics the body’s own natural electrical rhythm (healing and repairing). Lifts and firm’s skin. Not recommended if pregnant/nursing, active acne, cancer, meal implants, pace maker, and open wounds. Cannot combine with Microneedling.

High Frequency

30 minutes – $35

Glass electrode with mild electrical current. It is noninvasive. It increases oxygen and stimulates collagen, treats stubborn acne, reduce appearance of pores and fine lines, and decongest puffy eyes. Not recommended if you have epilepsy, excessive dental fillings/braces, metal plates/pins, or pregnant. Cannot combine with Microneedling or Microcurrent.

Ultrasonic

Gently exfoliates the skin of dead skin cells and loosens impurities, reduces wrinkles, product penetration, blood flow, treats Inflammation, increase moisture retention, warm up collagen, rosacea, and is good for all skin types. Not recommended pregnancy, pace makers, metal plates, cancer (stimulates lymphatic), heart conditions, and epilepsy. Cannot combine with Microneedling.

Facial Cupping

Double Massage

Bring a friend, sweetie, parent, or other important person in your life along! Genesis Salon and Enso Spa offers space for you and a second person to receive massage in the same room. Each of you will have a massage therapist to focus on you for the duration of you massage. Our massages are customized based on your needs and the massage therapist’s individual
areas of  expertise. Your treatment will begin with a consultation wherein you and your massage therapist will discuss the best techniques for your massage. We require a credit card/debit card # to put on file at time of booking.

Stress Fix Massage

Clinically proven to reduce feelings of stress, the Stress Fix aroma, with lavender, lavandin and clary sage is incorporated throughout this body massage combining Swedish and deep tissue massage along with foot reflexology, acupressure points and a guided meditation to calm and rejuvenate you. All of these techniques are specially selected to help you manage stress.

Thai Yoga Bodywork

Thai Yoga Bodywork is based on the northern style of traditional Thai Massage. The first roots of this ancient system date back to over 2,500 years ago. Thai Yoga Bodywork is unique from other types of bodywork and massage as this clothes-on, one-on-one therapeutic session includes a blend of rhythmic massage, assisted yoga poses, acupressure, and energy work. It is great for folks with chronic issues that never seem to heal, athletes looking to augment their fitness routines with self-care, and folks that are stuck at their desks all day and need to let their bodies move. Thai Yoga Massage is a great way to practice self-care for everyone!

Currently we do not offer prenatal Thai Yoga Massage. Only available with Jamie.

Reiki

Reiki is an energetic healing art with its roots in Japanese origin. A Reiki session can help ease tension and stress and can help support the body to facilitate healing on all levels – physical, mental, and emotional. A session is pleasant and relaxing and is often utilized for one’s personal wellness and not just for an illness. Reiki is practiced by hand placements on the body and is generally done fully clothed. Only available with Jamie.

Reflexology

This treatment is focused solely on your feet. You will enjoy a foot scrub with hot towels followed by a relaxing and therapeutic foot reflexology treatment. The concept of foot reflexology is that the feet have many nerve endings and have very similar landmarks as compared to the back; the therapist is able to affect the whole body through massage techniques through the feet. Treatment Enhancements

Cupping Therapy

The act of cupping creates suction on the soft tissue of the body. The negative pressure this suction creates lifts the skin and blood vessels allowing increased circulation of the cardiovascular and lymph system into the area.

This treatment includes techniques of gliding and stationary cupping in conjunction with massage.

It is important to note that cupping has the possibility of leaving discolorations on the skin that can occur from the release and clearing of stagnation and cell waste from the body. This discoloration is not bruising, but due to cellular debris, pathogenic factors and waste being drawn to the surface. Only available with Jamie.

Kinesiology Taping

Kinesiology tape microscopically lefts the skin away from the muscle and fascia, which decompresses the area and takes the pressure off swelling or injured muscles, allows smooth muscle and fascia movement, makes space for drainage and promotes blood flow.

Kinesiology tape also signals the central nervous system through the skin’s nerves, which provides strong feedback to the brain that will minimize pain and cue form.

It is effective on it’s own, but can be combined with other therapeutic modalities for even greater impact and can be worn for several days, providing therapeutic benefits the entire time.

Taping can be used for a variety of aches, pains, soft tissue injuries, bruising, scarring, adjusting posture, and more. If you want to know if taping will help you with a specfic complaint, please ask.

Japanese HeadSpa Services

Our head spa services are deeply relaxing and extremely soothing to the nervous system. In this service you will get a close look at your scalp though a 200x magnification scalp camera, this helps us note any problem areas on your scalp and confirms that this service is appropriate for your scalp’s needs. All services include your choice of aroma, heated eye mask, exfoliating scalp treatment, and luxurious scalp massage. We require a debit/credit card to reserve the appointment. Regardless of the reason we have 24 hour cancellation/reschedule policy. If not enough notice is given we charge 50% of the service total. Cannot recieve service if you have any open wounds, have lice or mites.

You will leave the treatment room with freshly cleaned and conditioned hair. In our locker room there is access to a blow dryer and hair products so you can leave fresh, relaxed, and ready for the rest of your day. The more time you add to your service the more luxurious and relaxing your service will be.

Consider booking a blow dry in the salon up front when you schedule your head spa service!
